Here are some preview clips from the next AT WAR WITH SELF release, ACTS OF GOD. The songwriters for this project are Damon Trotta (Vehicle, Non-Fiction) and myself, and will have appearances from guest musicians (to be announced). Damon will take on the bass, various percussion, digideroo, synths, programming, vocals and engineering roles, and I'll be covering the guitars, mandolins, synths, vocals and programming. There will be more info posted about Damon in the coming weeks, but for now you can check out some more of his bass playing from former projects with the links below. ACTS OF GOD will be released in early 2006.

Glenn Snelwar's Blog
Guitarist Glenn Snelwar is perhaps best known for his contributions to Gordian Knot's eponymous debut, a project led by Chapman Stick player Sean Malone that featured guest performances by Trey Gunn (King Crimson), Sean Reinert (Cynic) & John Myung (Dream Theater). Snelwar helped co-write three of the songs for Gordian Knot, as well as contributing guitar work. Since his involvement with Gordian Knot, Snelwar has been working under the project name At War With Self and incorporating mandolin, keyboard and string section programming into a foundation of classical, steel string and electric guitar to great effect. The main purpose of At War With Self is to explore the concept of creating progressive music by incorporating different musicians, styles, instrumentation and themes from one CD to the next.
